Creekwood Farm RV Park — Park Rules & Policies
Please familiarize yourself with our park rules. We want Creekwood Farm RV Park to be a safe, peaceful, and welcoming place enjoyed by all of our guests. Thank you for helping us take care of the park and one another during your stay.
Park Purpose
Creekwood Farm RV Park is a recreational park for the enjoyment of recreational campers. We do not offer annual or permanent sites. Special weekly and monthly rates may be available.
Payment
Final payment is taken one day prior to arrival. If you wish to use a different card or pay cash upon arrival, please contact the office.
Payment on any reservation constitutes acceptance of park rules and policies.
Cancellation Policy
Your first-night deposit is non-refundable. If you must cancel, we will issue a gift certificate equal to your deposit for a future stay within one year.
Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in:
RV Sites: 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Cabins: 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Please notify us if arriving after 9:00 p.m.
Check-out for all sites and cabins is 11:00 a.m.
Creekwood Farm RV Park reserves the right to change a site assignment when necessary due to safety, maintenance, site conditions, operational needs, or other circumstances.
Children
Parents and guardians are responsible for their children at all times. Children should be supervised in restrooms, showers, around the creek, near roadways and throughout the park.
Pets Policy
Pets must be leashed and under control at all times.
Do not tie pets to trees, utilities, or vehicles.
Pets may not be left outside unattended.
Please clean up after your pet.
Do not place pet enclosures on grass.
Pets are off leash only in the dog park.
No pets are permitted in bathrooms or the recreation hall.
Pets that display aggressive behavior or create an ongoing disturbance, including excessive barking, may be required to leave the park with their owner.
Service animals are welcomed in accordance with applicable law.
Unfortunately, our insurance does not allow the following breeds: Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Rottweiler and Pit Bull/Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
Restroom Courtesy
Please help keep restrooms clean and dry for the next guest. Use caution to avoid excess water on floors and wipe up any spills if they occur.
Please be courteous by leaving the space as you would like to find it.
Laundry Facility
The laundry facility is available to registered guests 24 hours a day. Washers and dryers are coin-operated. Quarters are available at the Front Office between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Daily Closure: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The laundry facility is reserved exclusively for Creekwood Housekeeping Staff during these hours. Laundry machines are unavailable for guest use from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily.
Please monitor your laundry and remove items promptly when each cycle is complete. Laundry left in a washer or dryer for more than 15 minutes after the cycle ends may be removed and placed in the designated laundry area so another guest may use the machine. Please do not leave laundry in the facility overnight.
Creekwood Farm RV Park is not responsible for unattended, lost, stolen, damaged, or removed items.
Please help keep the laundry facility clean and tidy. Clean up detergent spills, dryer sheets, lint, trash, and other personal items when finished.
Do not overload the machines or wash items that are excessively muddy, greasy, oily, or otherwise likely to damage or contaminate the equipment.
If a washer or dryer is not operating properly, please discontinue use and notify the Front Office. Do not attempt to repair or adjust the equipment.
Speed Limit
Please observe the posted speed limit throughout the park. Drive slowly and use extra caution around children, pedestrians, pets, bicycles, golf carts, and campground equipment. Our roads are shared by everyone, and keeping speeds low helps keep Creekwood safe.
Extra Vehicles and Golf Carts
One vehicle is allowed per site and must be parked perpendicular to the RV.
Extra vehicles may be parked in the overflow lot across from the office. Please obtain a parking pass from the office for any vehicle parked in the overflow lot.
Do not block the roadway or an adjacent campsite, and do not park on empty sites.
Golf carts are permitted but may not be modified for off-road use. Golf carts must remain on gravel roadways.
Drivers must be at least 16 years old and possess a valid driver's license. Proof of insurance is required for all golf carts.
One RV or Tent per Site
Only one sleeping accommodation is permitted per site, meaning either one RV or one tent.
Visitors
Visitors are welcome but must follow all Creekwood Farm RV Park rules and policies while on the property. Registered guests are responsible for the conduct of their visitors.
Visitor vehicles should not be parked on neighboring or empty campsites. Please contact the Front Office for visitor parking instructions.
Trash
Trash is collected daily between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
Please place tightly secured bags by the road at your campsite. Do not leave trash out overnight or allow it to accumulate at your site, as it may attract wildlife.
Campsite Housekeeping
Decorations are encouraged but should reflect a holiday or camping theme. Political signs are not permitted.
Please respect your neighbors' space and use designated roads and walkways rather than walking, biking, driving, or cutting through occupied campsites.
Clotheslines and towels or clothing may not be hung on trees or bushes.
Household items such as refrigerators, freezers, appliances, or furniture may not be left outside the RV.
Portable washing machines, dryers, or other laundry equipment may not be used outdoors at campsites. Wash water, detergent, or other wastewater may not be discharged onto the ground, grass, gravel, roadway, or anywhere within the park. Please use Creekwood’s laundry facility for washing and drying clothing and linens.
Rugs may be placed on gravel areas only, not on grass.
Homemade fire pits are not allowed.
Sewer connections must use a tight-fitting, non-absorbent elbow and sewer riser.
Fireworks are not permitted.
Please keep your campsite neat, safe, and free of items that could interfere with park maintenance or neighboring sites.
Firearms and Weapons
Firearms and weapons may not be visible or discharged in the park. This is a zero-tolerance policy.
Firewood, Charcoal Grills and Propane Grills
Outside firewood is not permitted due to the risk of spreading pests and disease. Firewood is available for purchase at the park.
Personal charcoal and propane grills are permitted.
Do not dispose of hot coals in garbage containers. Please contact the office or maintenance for proper charcoal disposal.
Fire pits and grills must never be left unattended.
Fire Pits
Fire pits are not permitted at cabins.
Only select RV sites have built-in fire pits. If you bring a portable fire pit, it must be placed on gravel areas only to prevent damage to the grass.
Fire pits are available to rent. Please contact the front office for more information.
Ground fires and homemade fire pits are not allowed. All fires must be contained and attended at all times.
RV Condition
Older RVs are welcome; however, they must be in good running condition and well maintained.
RVs with broken windows, severely faded paint, missing components, large dents, or other significant deterioration may not be permitted.
Cabin Rules
Parking
One vehicle may park directly in front of the cabin. Additional vehicles must park in the field across from the office and display a parking pass.
Please do not park on neighboring RV sites.
Cabin Supplies
Linens, towels, one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, and dish soap are provided upon arrival. Additional supplies are the responsibility of the guest.
House Rules
No pets.
No smoking or vaping in the cabin or on the porch.
No open flames, grills, smokers, or cooking devices on the porch.
Please wash and put away all dishes before check-out.
Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m.–8:00 a.m.
Fire Pits
Most cabins do not have private fire pits. A community fire pit is available in Bear Park, and the Maple Cabin includes a built-in fire pit.
Firewood is available for purchase in the office.
Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
During these hours, sound should not carry beyond your site.
Daytime Noise
To maintain a peaceful and serene environment, guests are asked to be mindful of noise levels between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
Please keep music, televisions, and other noise at a reasonable level.
Property Maintenance
Creekwood Farm RV Park is a working property, and routine maintenance is necessary to keep the park safe, clean, and enjoyable for our guests.
Mowing is generally performed on Wednesdays. Please remove lawn ornaments and personal items from grass areas so the landscaping crew has full access to your site.
Mowing, trimming, blowing, landscaping, tree maintenance, road maintenance, site maintenance, utility work, repairs, and other routine property maintenance may occur throughout the park as needed.
Please keep children and pets safely away from active maintenance areas and equipment.
If you have a concern related to maintenance near your RV, vehicle, campsite, or personal property, please notify the Front Office promptly so we have an opportunity to address it.
Property Improvements
We are continually working to maintain and improve Creekwood Farm RV Park for our guests. From time to time, property improvement projects may take place during your stay.
This work may include the use of tractors, landscaping equipment, construction equipment, or other machinery for projects such as repairing or improving roads and campsites, drainage work, landscaping, utility improvements, and other improvements throughout the property.
Property improvement work will generally be performed outside of quiet hours (10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.). While we make every reasonable effort to minimize disruption, some temporary noise, equipment activity, dust, or limited access may occur as part of maintaining and improving an outdoor campground.
When we anticipate work that may significantly affect a guest's campsite, access, or experience, we will make every reasonable effort to provide advance notice when possible.
For everyone's safety, please remain clear of active work areas and equipment and follow any temporary signs or instructions from Creekwood staff.
RV Detailing
RV detailing is permitted during most times of the year. We partner with local detailing companies. Please contact the office for recommended providers.
Detailing is not allowed before 10:00 a.m. or after 8:00 p.m.
Due to high occupancy, detailing is not permitted during July or October.
Jonathan Creek
Jonathan Creek is one of the special features of Creekwood Farm RV Park, and we want everyone to enjoy and help protect it.
Enter the creek at your own risk. Creek conditions can change quickly, especially during or after rain. Water levels may rise rapidly, currents may strengthen, and rocks or debris beneath the surface may not be visible. Water shoes are recommended, and children should be closely supervised at all times.
Please help us protect Jonathan Creek. Do not throw or place trash, food, bottles, cans, cigarette butts, pet waste, chemicals, soap, wastewater, fishing line, hooks, or any other foreign material into the creek. Please leave the creek and its banks cleaner than you found them.
Jonathan Creek is designated by the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission as Public Mountain Trout Water and is managed for public trout fishing. Portions of trout waters may border or pass through private property, so anglers should respect property boundaries, posted signs, and designated fishing-access areas.
Jonathan Creek is classified as Hatchery Supported Trout Water in Haywood County. The designated section extends from upstream of the S.R. 1302 bridge downstream to the Pigeon River, except where posted against trespassing.
The creek is stocked with trout by the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission during the year as part of the state's trout stocking program. Stocking dates and quantities may vary and are not guaranteed.
During 2026 and 2027, trout stocking throughout western North Carolina is expected to be reduced while the Bobby N. Setzer State Fish Hatchery undergoes a major renovation and expansion. The hatchery normally supplies the majority of trout used in the state's stocking program. NC Wildlife has said it intends to continue providing fishing opportunities at Public Mountain Trout Waters using a reduced stocking schedule, supplemented in part with trout purchased from private hatcheries. Reduced stocking could potentially continue into 2028.
Anglers are responsible for knowing and following all current North Carolina fishing-license requirements, seasons, creel limits, bait restrictions, and other regulations. Regulations may change, so please check the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission before fishing.

Weather and Severe Conditions
Weather in the mountains can change quickly. Guests are responsible for monitoring weather conditions and taking reasonable precautions to protect themselves, their RVs, vehicles, awnings, outdoor equipment, and personal belongings.
During high winds or storms, please retract awnings and secure outdoor items. Creek and water levels may rise rapidly during or following heavy rainfall.
Creekwood may communicate significant weather information when practical; however, guests remain responsible for monitoring weather conditions and official weather alerts.
Freeze Protection Policy
During freezing temperatures, guests are required to take appropriate precautions to protect their RV, water connections, and park infrastructure from freezing.
Guests may be required to disconnect water hoses during freezing conditions. Depending on temperatures and weather conditions, heated water hoses, insulated connections, or other winter-weather equipment may also be required during your stay.
When specific winter equipment is required, Creekwood Farm RV Park will communicate those requirements to guests. When applicable, required equipment will be available for purchase or rental at the Front Office for guests who do not have their own.
Freeze warnings and important winter-weather instructions may be communicated to guests via text message. Guests who opt out of text communication remain responsible for monitoring weather conditions and complying with winter-weather requirements.
Guests are responsible for properly protecting their RV and connections from freezing. If a guest fails to disconnect, winterize, or use required freeze-protection equipment and damage occurs to Creekwood property or infrastructure, the cost of repair may be charged to the reservation on file.
Please contact the Front Office if you are unsure how to prepare for expected freezing conditions. We are happy to help you determine what may be needed during your stay.
Inherent Risks of Outdoor Camping
Creekwood Farm RV Park is an outdoor recreational property located in a natural, wooded environment.
Camping inherently involves exposure to outdoor and naturally occurring conditions, including trees and tree debris, leaves, pollen, sap, seeds, nuts, insects, wildlife, bird droppings, dust, mud, rain, wind, storms, creek conditions, and uneven terrain.
Guests are responsible for protecting and maintaining their RVs, vehicles, awnings, outdoor equipment, and personal property from ordinary exposure to these conditions.
Creekwood Farm RV Park is not responsible for cleaning, staining, cosmetic damage, or other loss resulting from ordinary and naturally occurring outdoor conditions, except where otherwise required by law.
Please remain aware of your surroundings and promptly report any unusual or potentially hazardous condition to the Front Office.
Personal Property and Property Concerns
Guests are responsible for securing and protecting their RVs, vehicles, equipment, and personal belongings while on the property.
Creekwood Farm RV Park is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unattended personal property.
If you believe your RV, vehicle, equipment, or other property has been damaged while at Creekwood, or if you observe a condition that may cause damage, please notify the Front Office as soon as reasonably possible.
Prompt notification gives our team an opportunity to inspect and document the circumstances and, when possible, correct the issue or assist you during your stay.
Guest-Caused Damage
Guests are responsible for damage they or members of their party cause to campsites, cabins, buildings, utilities, electrical pedestals, water connections, sewer connections, landscaping, equipment, or other Creekwood property.
Please report accidental damage to the Front Office promptly. We understand that accidents happen and appreciate the opportunity to address them quickly.
Repair or replacement costs resulting from guest-caused damage may be charged to the reservation on file.
Policy Disclaimer & Right to Refuse Service
Creekwood Farm RV Park is committed to providing a safe, clean, peaceful, and enjoyable environment for all of our guests.
We respectfully reserve the right to refuse service or ask any guest to leave the campground at any time, without refund, for behavior that is disruptive, unsafe, threatening, destructive, or not in alignment with our park guidelines.
To maintain the quality and appearance of our park, we do not accept long-term or permanent residency. All stays are considered temporary and recreational in nature.
We generally accept RVs that are 10 years old or newer. Older RVs may be considered on a case-by-case basis and must be in excellent, well-maintained condition. Any RV that, upon arrival, is deemed to be in poor or unsightly condition may result in denial of entry or removal from the property without refund. This applies to all reservations, including those made online.
By booking a reservation and entering the property, guests agree to abide by all park rules and policies.
Policy Acknowledgment
Payment for your reservation constitutes acceptance of all Creekwood Farm RV Park policies and guidelines.
By completing your reservation, you agree to follow all posted rules and understand that failure to comply may result in additional fees or removal from the park without refund.
Park policies may be updated from time to time as needed for guest safety, campground operations, insurance requirements, or changes in applicable laws and regulations. Guests are responsible for following the policies in effect during their stay.
